OSU facilitates students' academic and personal success through the gathering of relevant data. Individual offices and departments oversee initial data collection and storage, following applicable laws and policies. This information is not exhaustive but is meant to illustrate what is typical on campus. This section may be updated as needed without notification. 	Individual Transactions: Holds, Check-outs, Room Reservations, Training Reservations, Fines and Fees history, Document delivery and Website usage Teaching and Learning: Participation in Library eLearning, tutorials and open educational resources Print jobs

	How We Collect Data
	Card scans at check-out Library Website and web services OSU Network sign-in Vendors such as Qualtrics, Springshare, MachForms, Grassblade xAPI Companion and Learning Record Store, Google Analytics and Pressbooks Vendors may use data for operational and other purposes and retain data that may or may not be shared with OSU.

	Where We Share Data

	When We Retire Your Data
	Library-established retention standards Fines/Fee History: entered as Bursar transaction (see Financial Data) Check-Outs: removed from record once material is returned Personal account settings and lists: never available to OSU Print Data: Erased within 24 hours Search history: Not Signed In: never kept Signed In: never available to OSU Vendor retention practices vary, but may be limited by their contracts with OSU
